Whether curly, voluminous or rebellious the different types of curly hair deserve particular care. Each one has its unique characteristics to respect in order to get the most out of it.

There are many types of curly hair. These can be wavy, bulky, with waves, afro, etc. The essential thing is to know what you have in order to know how to treat it.

The curly hair must be careful to look manageable and without frizz. You must use products that respect the texture of your hair type.

Curly hair has a particular characteristic: It needs a lot of hydration.

WAVY HAIR

  • Hydrate your hair with a leave in conditioner and avoid frizz
  • Use products such as creams or gel to comb that moisturize and define curly hair type 3B is thin, porous. And less shiny so hydrating is essential. Because your appearance is spiral type you must control the frizz.

The afro hair 4B is shaped like the letter Z. It is very fragile so care is extremely important because it tends to break.

  • It uses deep conditioners, like the “deep conditioner”, these regenerate and moisturize more than an ordinary one.

The  afro hair 4C does not have any definition, it can be soft, thick, porous or fine. The curls are much more funky and fragile than any other so hydration is paramount.

This type of curls is very porous, lacks natural shine and tends to shrink when dried.

  • Use oils and creams to hydrate it.
  • Replace the shampoo with a co-wash conditioner.
  • Regenerate and moisturize your hair with conditioners “deep conditioner”.
  • Comb your hair while you shower.
